Dr Gough-Palmer received his MA (Oxon) in 1997 and his MBBS in 2000. He went on to receive FRCR in 2006.

He trained it St John’s College, Oxford University between 1994 and 1997 and the Royal Free and University College Medical School from 1997 to 2000. He went on to complete his radiology training at Royal Free Hospital in London from 2003 to 2008, followed by a body MRI fellowship at St Mary’s Hospital, London.

Dr Gough-Palmer specialises in neurological, gastrointestinal and head and neck imaging. He is a core member of the Maidstone and Tunbridge Wells NHS Trust colorectal MDT. He was appointed as a Consultant at MTW and KSRG in 2009.
